15- Noah’s exceptionally great ark
Who was behaving well in Noah era? why he built an ark? what the great flood did to man, plant, and animal?
(And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham and Japheth.)(Genesis5:32)
(The sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all Whom they chose.)(Genesis6:2)
So, here it is clear that “Evil company corrupts good habits.”(1CORINTHIANS 15:33)
(And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is Indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.)(Genesis 6:3)
Here, God asserted in the fact that man is flesh and blood so, he is a weak Being.
(Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and That every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.)(Genesis6:5)
(And The Lord was sorry.)(Genesis6:6)
(Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.)(Genesis6:9)
So, at the great darkness, there must be a point of light.
At the middle of the evil of the world, there was Noah; the perfect in his Generations at the sight of God.
In every time the world is passing through, there are the good people, Enlightening the world with their good doing.
And God is joyful with them, no matter how little they are.
(And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before me, Make your self an ark of gopher wood.)(Genesis 6:13’14)
Since, God never forgets His sons, He asked Noah to build an ark for him and His family.
(Noah was six hundred year old when the flood waters were on the earth.)(Genesis7:6)
This shows that Noah continued warning people for a complete century, Unfortunately, no one could believe him.
The Great Flood in Action
(Now the flood was on the earth forty days.)(Genesis7:17)
The forty days perhaps, is a symbol for the fasting of Moses and Jesus in a Reference for the life on earth,
so, we should adhere to the teachings of The Lord as soon as we are here.
(Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.)(Genesis7:23)
So, the great flood killed all but those; who were inside the ark.
And the ark usually, is a symbol for the church; the source of our salvation.
(So it came to pass, at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of The ark which he had made. Then he sent out a raven.)(Gensis8:6-7)
(He also sent out from himself a dove.)(Genesis8:8)
Saint Jerome says, (The raven was sent but, it but it did not come back. The Dove returned with an olive leaf to the earth.
The same as in baptism the devil is dismissed and the Holy Spirit prevails on.
The green color for the olive leaf is permanent as the impact of baptism has a Lasting effect as soon as we walk in the teachings of the Lord.
(And sent out the dove, which did not return again to him any more.)(Genesis 8:12)
As the dove has been set free with no return. We should go in the righteous Way with no return to our sins, till reaching our eternal life.
(Then Noah built an altar to the Lord.)(Genesis8:20)
The first thing Noah did after getting out of the ark is building an altar to Offer a sacrifice.
The same as we offer Jesus’s sacrifice after being baptized in church.
(And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma.)(Genesis8:21)
Here, God announces his satisfaction by smelling a soothing aroma.
How great you are our God in your forgiveness!
(So, God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and Multiply, and fill the earth.)
So, the main reason for God from the great floodwaters might be His intent To renew the world not to destroy it.
