What’s the rod of Moses? How God used it to kill Pharaoh and his army? and why?

(Then he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, “Rise, go out from among my people. And go serve the Lord as you have said.) (EXODUS 12:31)
(Then the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children.) (EXODUS 12:37)
Rameses denotes to the corruption and evil that man should get out off to, Succoth which is camps to find God in.
(Then it came to pass, that God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines. Although that was near, for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war and return to Egypt.) (EXODUS 13:17)
(So, God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea.) (EXOSUS 13:18)
Hence, God selected this way for many reasons, firstly, there was lots of Egyptian military garrisons, in addition to so, the Philistines army was strong at this time so, God saw that they cannot fight because they are not qualified to do so.
Secondly, God wanted to train them in the wilderness on the spiritual wars, so they be ready for real wars.
Thirdly, to be a period for getting purified and getting rid of the remains of captivity on Egypt.
Fourthly, God wanted to sort who deserves to enter the promised land.
(And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he pursued the children of Israel. So, the Egyptians pursued them, all the horses and chariots of pharaoh by the sea beside Pi Hahiroth, before Bael Zephon.) (EXODUS 14:8,9)
So, the arrogance and pride of Pharaoh made him to forget the great power of God and the ten plagues that forced him to set the children of Israel free so, it might be thought that God wanted to perish Pharaoh not the Egyptian people.
(And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So, they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord.) (EXODUS 14:10)
The scene was so critical and extremely dangerous for the children of Israel since the sea was before them, and the army of Pharaoh after them.
So, although what the Israeli saw the great ten plagues, they greatly feared the situation.
It is sadly saying that, at the first narrow they faced, they had forgotten the great works of God with them. I guess that the majority of us if not all of us thinking the same as them.
(And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today.) (EXODUS 14:13)
So, the strange and wonderful at the same time was, the faith of Moses who believed in that God would surely save them, even before he knew the mean of salvation.
(The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.) (EXODUS 14:14)
(And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it.) (EXODUS 14:15-16)
Then, it seems that God responded to Moses who cried to him with no voice and uncovered to him the mean of salvation, which was made through the same instrument the rod, the rod of Moses!

The Sea Is Divided

(Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to get back by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.) (EXODUS 14:21)
(So, the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground. And the Egyptians pursued and went after them into the midst of the sea.) (EXODUS 14:22,23)
Thus, the children of Israel walked in the sea which became a land, Moses in advance and the Lord, while the Lord was covering their back.
(Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians.”) (EXODUS 14:26)
(And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth.) (EXODUS 14:27)
(Then the water returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen and all of the army of Pharaoh, not so much as one of them remained.) (EXODUS 14:28)
In this great scene, Moses and the children of Israel were thanking and joying of the salvation of the Lord, while the Egyptians were laughing and doubting till the sea killed them.
(Thus, Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so, the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.) (EXODUS 14:31)
So, what are you really the rod of Moses? you got to be a rod in the hands of Moses who was in the hand of God. You got to be the cross of Jesus Christ. You Got to be the way of our salvation.
